Notification of fertiliser and substrate

Process description

1. Submission of documents
   E-mail
   • Customer sends documents to pasts@vaad.gov.lv or official electronic address
   • documents must be signed with a secure electronic signature
   
   Mail
   • Customer sends documents by mail
   
   In person
   • customer arrives at the State Plant Protection Service and submits documents
   
   The following documents shall be attached to the application
   • Confirmation by the competent authority or manufacturer of the country concerned of the lawful marketing of a particular fertiliser or substrate in a Member State of the European Union, a Member State of the European Economic Area or Turkey
   • the labelling, labelling or accompanying document in the Latvian language corresponding to the language of the country which has recognised the fertiliser and substrate; if the application is submitted in paper form, the applicant shall also submit the labelling or labelling text in electronic form
   • Information on raw materials of organic fertiliser and substrate
   • Information on the organic fertiliser and substrate, if it contains animal by-products, indicating the official registration or recognition number assigned, as well as the website of the competent authority containing information that the producer of the organic fertiliser and substrate has been recognised or registered in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009
   
   The service is free.

2. Receipt of services
   Information on the notified fertiliser or substrate is included in the list of notified fertilisers and substrates
