Export and re-export
Export is the export of plants and plant products from the Republic of Latvia to third countries (countries that are not members of the European Union).
Re-export means the export of a consignment of plants and plant products which has entered the territory of Latvia from third countries and has subsequently been stored, divided or repackaged and exported to other third countries.
The export of plants and plant products from Latvia to third countries requires a phytosanitary certificate for export or a phytosanitary certificate for re-export certifying that the plants or plant products comply with the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country.
