Only plant protection products registered in the Register of Plant Protection Products are authorised in Latvia. When registering a plant protection product, it shall be issued with a registration certificate specifying the term of validity of the registration certificate. The owner of the registration certificate may apply for the withdrawal of the plant protection product before the expiry of the term of validity of the registration certificate, indicating the reason. The State Plant Protection Service shall: • review the documents submitted; • take a decision regarding the withdrawal of the registration of a plant protection product; • make appropriate amendments to the Register of Plant Protection Products.
